My dearest friend Micheal has finally released the video that I have been waiting to see for so long. We have been working for it endless hours, have had such a good time inspiring each other, but most of all, I love the fact that this video and release stands for something. To be really correct and to use his exact words :
“I wanted to do something different. I wanted to do something that would perfectly represent who I am, if this was my last work. I wanted the word “Bounce” to mean something to me. I want the word “Bounce” to stand for people, like myself, who embrace difference and who are not scared of being judged just because they are different. I did this with the hope that others who lack the strength to make a stand, could be inspired when they see this. The hand seen in the word “Bounce” is the letter “B” in sign language. The use of the hand symbolizes Bounce being a voice for the voiceless. Bounce means stand for something. If you have a dream then go for it, do not settle. If you have a problem with something, speak up. Do not take no for an answer nor be willing to compromise who you are. HELP ME INSPIRE OTHERS. SHARE, POST, STAND FOR SOMETHING! ”
I am really glad it is finally out, so that we can all enjoy it, share it and feel the love. If you are one of these persons who truly believe that music is the reason why you should keep going and believing in yourself, in the good in people, in the humanity, in love, in equality and in freedom, then you should definitely check it out and let it play out loud so that you can feel it in your bones. I truly hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Have a great week friends, with lots of music! 🙂 ❤
I haven’t blogged for a couple of days now because me and the team that I work with have been super busy with our first project. I finally had the chance to test my skills as a project manager / Music manager, call it whatever you want.
The project was a photoshoot and the responsibilities were almost all on me. Me and my partner in this project, Angelo. We had to organize the perfect photoshoot for our artist Micheal. The photos are going to be used from now on in everything that he needs to do as an artist. My part in the project was to basically make sure that it is completely organized and well prepared, meaning that we had to book the photographer, the models, the make up artist, fix the clothes, the time, the food, the schedule and almost everything really. Also to come up with the whole concept, something that me and Angelo have been planning for the last month. It was maybe one of the best experiences/ chances. It was super fun and the best part is that every time something like this happens, I am surrounded by professionals and I learn so many things about art, music, photography and business. It was such a good time.
I think I did pretty alright if someone considers that it was my first time taking complete responsibility for a whole project. This is what I studied in Greece and what I am still studying here and now I have the chance to start working with it.
I wanna say such a big thank you to Micheal for trusting me on this one and in many more to come and to all the guys in our team, Angelo, Stephen, and also my new friends Richard, Cheicki and everyone else who was on the set . I hope we get to work again like this real soon!
This is a tiny taste of moments captured on my camera! 🙂
